Based in the College of Computing and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, the Autonomous Agents Research Group led by Dr. Stefano V. Albrecht investigates how autonomous agents can learn, reason, and collaborate to accomplish tasks in complex environments. Our research develops algorithms for optimal control, decision making, and multi-agent interaction, with a focus on deep reinforcement learning and foundation model-based agents. We pursue both fundamental algorithmic advances and applied research, working closely with industry partners in sectors such as autonomous driving, warehouse robotics, and human-AI workflow orchestration. We welcome collaborations with researchers and industry partners who share our passion for advancing the frontier of autonomous AI.
